This Headliner Is Made With Morbern Seabrook Upholstery Grade Vinyl And High-Quality, Flame-Adhered 3/16 Foam Backing. Perfect For Renovating Any Boat Interior, This Vinyl Headliner Is Easy To Install. Seabrook Vinyl Is Mildew Resistant, Flame Retardant, Durable And Easy To Clean. Foam-Backed Headliners Hide Imperfections Better Than Vinyl Alone As The Foam Can Be Cut Away To Accommodate Protrusions Like Nuts And Bolt Heads. You Can Also Use Foam Backed Headliner For Certain Upholstery Projects, Such As Automotive And Rv Doors And Center Consoles. It Can Also Be Used For Side Panels, Steering Consoles And Cushions On A Powerboat Or Sailboat. Some Even Choose To Use It For Vinyl Wrapped Headboards.
To Install, Apply 3M General Trim Adhesive To Both Surfaces That Are To Be Bonded Together. Do Not Use A Water-Based Cement Or Silicone Based Spray With This Headliner. Cut The Headliner Slightly Oversized, Press Firmly Into Place And Then Trim To Fit.
In The Manufacturing Of This Product, Sheets Of Vinyl Are Spliced Together On The Foam Backing. Rolls Of 8 Or More Yards May Contain One Splice. If You Will Be Working On Large Spans, We Recommend Ordering Up To 20% More Fabric Than Needed To Easily Work Around These Splices.
Pro Tip: It Is Not Recommended To Use Masking Tape On Either Surface Of This Headliner Fabric.
Note: Although This Product Is Labeled By The Manufacturer As White, This Fabric Has A Very Slight Cream Undertone When Compared With A True White.
Please Note: The Manufacturer Lists The Width Of The Fabric As 54 ; However, We Have Found That The Fabric Varies Up To 1 Inch In Width.
